“Picture of the day” While traveling off the point of Robberg our guide Mario noticed numerous whale blows ± 2 kilometers in front of the boat. While encountering these Humpback whales, we noticed a group of ± 12 Humpback whales in a half kilometer radius. Their blows were reaching heights of between 4 – 5 meters. We also had a new Southern Right calf born in the bay yesterday morning and the whale watching companies decided to stay well away from the mother and her new Plett sibling.
