Autumn has arrived in Plettenberg Bay and we are closing in on winter and whale season. Deciding the last minute to join us on a boat but don’t have the right clothes?, we have a colourful selection of jackets, hoody’s and tops to satisfy everyone’s needs.
Ocean Blue offers more then boat trips, we also have township tours and sea kayaking on the schedule. The kayaks are an amazing way to come closer to the ocean and the animals in it and its fun for the whole family.

Humpback whales a plenty! We have been spoilt this week with sightings on “these angels of the sea” Our skipper Mario is enjoying the sight of 6 Humpback whales which had encircled the boat, giving our clients a 360 degree spectacular close encounter.
The weekend proved to be a great time for us. On every trip that we went out, our guests were spoilt with awesome sightings of Humpback whales and Brydes whales. The Humpback whales were the most entertaining as they lob-tailed, spy-hopped, slapped their pectoral fins and breached
Ocean Blue and Orca Foundation’s Research and education boat “Gaia” is in the process of going through it’s 5 year refurbishment. What an awesome experience!!! Yesterday on our 12h00 boat trip we had our first encounter on a Humpback whale. On Thursday at 13h00 Ocean Blue Adventures took a group of Indian tourists out to a walk on the Robberg Penninsula. This is the Qolweni community, based at the entrance of Plettenberg Bay. The population in Qolweni is between 6000 and 7000 people.
