Sabrina Love Foundation
The Sabrina Love Foundation provides holistic care to children with special needs in disadvantaged communities throughout the Garden Route. The Foundations raises funds for this worthy cause by hosting the Sabrina Love Challenge – an annual multidisciplinary sporting event held in Plettenberg Bay. In addition, both private and corporate donations are gratefully accepted.
ORCA Foundation
The ORCA Foundation hosts volunteers with an interest in Marine Conservation from across our blue planet. Led by a seasoned team of conservation professionals, they participate in numerous research initiatives focussed on local conservation imperatives related to the Plettenberg Bay ecosystem. We also collaborate with numerous other research bodies to assist in providing scientific guidance related to conservation. Additionally, volunteers participate in various community outreach programs aimed at uplifting the community.
Siyakhula Vorschule
Alle Einnahmen von Theateraufführungen, Township Touren und ein Teil des durch Ocean Blue Adventures eingebrachten Gewinns werden verwendet um Lehrergehälter zu bezahlen und für die Instandhaltung der Qolweni Siyakhula Vorschule. Dies ermöglicht den Kindern in der Township eine adäquate Bildung.
The Field Band Foundation
The Field Band Foundation NPC operates more than 40 bands specialising in the Performance Band Concept across South Africa. Aimed at teaching valuable life skills to youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, each band is made up of up to 120 members. Aside from their joyful music, participants experience numerous other life-affirming activities. Ocean Blue Adventures is proud to have brought this initiative to the Garden Route, and many of our guests have been awed by the energy and positivity of their performances.
