Today we had wonderful sightings with Humpback whale mothers and calves moving on their southerly migration from Madagascar down to Antartica.
“Picture of the day” On our 09h30 trip today we were lucky enough to encounter 11 Humpback whales and 2 Brydes whales. Ocean Blue is going to offer whale watching trips right throughout December due to the fact that the Humpback migration south is a lot later than normal.
“Picture of the day” At last our Humpback whales have started their southerly migration. On Tuesday we spotted ± 20 Humpback whales off Keurbooms village and the Point of Robberg. Guests were kept entertained with many whales breaching and spectacular sights of tail flukes during their trip.
